Roadwork on SR 51 (Clairton Boulevard) will begin on October 31, 2024, and continue until May 15, 2028. This PennDOT project will cover the area from 390 feet south of Coal Valley Road to 590 feet north of SR 2040 (Lebanon Church Road).
This project will include: asphalt milling and resurfacing, bridge preservation, concrete pavement preservation, drainage improvements, guide rail, curb and sidewalk work, traffic signals, and pavement markings.
Expect long-term lane closures from April through October over the next three years. There will also be short-term daylight lane closures for signal work from 9 AM to 3 PM, and necessary nighttime restrictions from 8 PM to 5 AM during the week.
